Serious note a guy I used to work with was in the Navy and he said in the older ships the toiltes were directly across from one another with no doors so you are basically staring at another guy taking a shite while you are taking a shite.

Yeah that's how it is still in some barracks. The older squadbays are like that. That's how bonds are formed I guess.
