Did MUCH better last night. I have around $30k and some new weapons. It was nice to kill everything except Alpha Skags and any kind of elemental Skag with two or three shots.

I'm sure you know by now that their weak spot is when they open their mouth. They jump around too much and can get annoying. Have you done the Marley and Moe quest yet?

It's two mega skags...at the same time. Threesome of death.

You can pull it off, but that's not one I ever want to try solo. Because it's just not them two. They have all their little bastard skags biting at your ankles as well.

That is a situation where a high fire rate will come in handy.

I suppose. I can only run around screaming for so long

This SMG I have was doing work on the Alpha Skags. I guess I'll try that. It took a good 7-8 mins to finish off the Fire Skag in the Thunderdome thing. I was not a fan.

Finally found one of those little robot things inside the hideout where the mine key was. I did that mission as well as gathering the sniper parts while I was there. When I talked to him, I could not find out how to go where he wanted me to on the map. It looked like it was somewhere inside, but I went all over the place and found nothing. I found a door I could turn the handle on, but it didn't open. Any ideas?

Sometimes those waypoints aren't exactly where you need to go. Just indicate the general area. Something else they've said they are fixing in the second one. What's the name of the quest. I'll look it up.

It took me forever to find the "sniper rifle sight". That bitch was hidden behind the shack that holds the rocket launcher.

The "find the gun part" quests are the worst about this.

Are you just looking for the repair box for the claptrap? And is it in the area with those purple worm/crab creatures?

I don't know what I am looking for. The robot is leaned against a fence where in the hideout where the minekey was.

I beat the entire game solo. I prefer it that way. Only missions that gave me problems were SKAGZILLA and sledge.
The game was too easy IMO

I think this is another reason why this game is so much better in co-op. The enemies scale up when there are more players, but it's not proportionate at all. Playing in a 3 person party had plenty of difficult moments. I have a feeling it's on easy mode with just 1 player.
