Cool thing is if you get to the point where you don't like what you've put your skill points towards, you can remap them at the spawn beacons. It will cost you a decent amount of change, especially if you are a higher level, but don't worry about putting stuff in the wrong slot. It can be fixed.

I'm going to get money by grinding

Pick up every gun and sell it. Good way to make money too. That's why it's key to do all the claptrap quests because most of them give you a backpack SDU so you can carry more crap.

lol. Next time, wait till the area is clear. Then talk to him

I'll try to remember that. We were in a group of four, and the chat was fricked up by then. It seems like we have a limited time to talk. It really makes co-op a pain in the arse.

Dunno why you're having so much trouble with the chat.

Is that the little robot guy? His missions are on the board beside him correct? I am not aware of getting a SDU though on any of them and have done more 3 or 4

In certain areas, you'll find one lying down and crying asking for help. Click on him and he gives you a quest to find this toolbox to fix him. Most of them reward you with a backpack expansion. Some of them will just give XP, weapons, or money. Always follow them after you finish because they'll sometimes lead you to a secret area with more weapons.
ETA: And if you get the SDU, it will be rewarded automatically. You just have to go to your inventory and clicked on it for it to apply.

I think playing solo tonight will help me out. Being in a group makes me just want to do quests. I need to GRIND

You'll see one at the first town. Not sure what he gives you, but he's lying around those little makeshift graves right at the entrance. What level are you?
@Lew, if it's money you are working towards, go for it. If it's to get a higher level, just plan out what quests you want to do. You'll get a bunch at one time, but a few of them might be too difficult. Knock out the lower ones first, and when you're done, you should be at a good level to tackle the rest.
