Battletech on the 24th of April

From Paradox Interactive, the guys who did the Shadowrun RPGs.
Easily my most anticipated game this year. I have hundreds of hours logged into MechWarrior online but it's time for a single player Battletech game again.
I still have fond memories of playing Mechwarror 2 on DoS.
As far as lore is concerned, Battletech is second only to Star Wars.

Mechwarrior isn't the same type of game as Battletech. Poor comparison.

Its a typical hairbrained schemes game in that its slow and heavy on story. This game is a little more strategic than tactical, unlike shadowrun IMO.
It does a great job of bringing new players up to speed on what the universe is tho.
