They said it...it's in the stickied thread. I think both sic and I posted it. And it probably has been a work in progress for a while now. Let's just wait and see, though...that's about all we can do.

Did you get the email? Just go to the Store, Browse by Title, go to the B and look for Battlefield 3. If you're in, you'll just see the Demo button available.

thanks. i don't know a whole lot on what dice has said, but the beta isn't pretty at all. i felt like i was just playing a updated version of bfbc2 with the same blah graphics. i'll rent the final version just so i can see for myself how it looks in the end.

So what happens when MW3 is just an updated version of MW2? Is that game going to rock your socks off because it "looks pretty"? Maybe the suicide attack dogs will be the deciding factor. I know it is for me.

you make a good point lew. but when it comes between these two games, you go for what you know YOU'RE going to play and enjoy. i will enjoy mw3 more than this game.

PC Beta might be getting Caspian Border map.
Thread on EA forums about it being on the map list but password protected. Dice member responded with this, "If things go the way they are intended today, I´ve got a nice surprise for my PC forum family tomorrow. "

you also have to realize that the graphics are dumbed down as well as some of the environment destruction because the beta is not intended to check how things run graphically. they dont want to create a huge download that takes hours just to get, takes up all of a hard drive and slows everything down because of all of the information that is having to be supported and processed without having the disc that the actual game will have
