What are y'all most looking forward to seeing? I spend way too much time watching these marathons. Mega man block this evening. I enjoy Castlevania runs as well. I'm also interested in the Dark Souls run.

Games Done Quick it's a speed running week long marathon they do twice a year on twitch. They usually raise $1M+ by the end of the week.

games done quick. Charity stream of speedruns and whatnot for donations.

Sometimes it's OK to watch; most times it's painful because there's always some yokel constantly reading off donations with shitty messages.

Sometimes I do, too, but I'm still salty from one I tried to watch Monday (I think). Man that was brutal

I've never missed one. I speedrun Sonic Adventure 2 so I had a little extra reason to watch AGDQ this past winter. I really enjoyed the sonic block. Seeing Sonic Generations and Sonic Color speedrun was pretty cool. I always like the Super Monkey Ball stuff too.

I haven't actually ever looked at the schedule, but when I'm home, I have it on in the background. It gets some pretty amazing viewer numbers on twitch (saw 160,000 on last night)

Tried to watch it this weekend, man that is boring as frick.

It might have been the game they were playing or the people playing them, but it was not fun to watch.

I've never been into speedruns and I guess I never will be.

That being said, I love the fact of that they are raising money for those charities and I'm astounded by how much they raise.

First one I've been checking out and it's pretty awesome. Been watching it while I'm at the gym, Mirror's Edge, Half Life and Castlevsnia SOTN have been my favorites so far.

It has to be the right game. Some games are terrible to be watched speedruns. You can usually tell if it's a good game to watch or not by the size of the crowd behind them. Zelda, Metroid, Tetris, Mario, Donkey Kong, etc. are usually pretty safe bets.

I've never watched any other speedruns aside from this one guy who I like who speedruns Pokemon.

When he gets a good run going which is super dependent on some things happening really early on it's exciting as hell to watch. Can only assume it's the same w/ most games.

SpikeVegeta is from Arkansas as well as 1 or 2 other runners there right now, if I'm not mistaken. The south is actually pretty well-represented in terms of runners.

RNG is fun to watch but seeing a WR pace run in a game that's heavily execution based is insane.

This Mega Man X2 4-Player run is pretty cool, always sucked at Mega Man when I was a kid.

Yea I don't see the enjoyment in it personally. I understand finishing these games as fast as possible, but these are the games I want to be immersive in
