Just won a match with a grand total of 2 squad kills and less than 350 total damge 
And no, we weren't camping. Outside of 90 seconds in the second to last round we were moving around the map the whole time. Just only happened to run into one other player before we found where the last guy was hiding

Yeah, I honestly don't know any of the area names except skull town, and that's an obvious one bc it has a giant skull. I'll have squad mates on their mics shouting out the names of areas they want me to jump to, but unless they ping it I have no idea wtf they're talking about. And I've put a good amount of time into this game so far too.
But I wouldn't say it all looks the same to me. A lot of it does, but I know my way around now for the most part. Just don't ask me to head to a specific area by name

Hell yea it is. Apex and 2k are the only games I've played in months outside of a handful of Halo Reach matches for nostalgia sake

Yep.
Still amazes me there are people on reddit who are insistent that his hit box is perfectly fine.
Since the Origin update yesterday, I've been having bad audio issues. Can't hear background noise, footsteps or enemy fire nearly as loudly my own movements and gun fire.
It's like the audio patch they issued to lower the volume during legend select and drop, gets stuck on certain audio cues.

You should definitely play her more.
Smaller hitbox and a get out of jail free card with her tactical.

I mained with Pathfinder for a long time until I unlocked Octane. I'm still the best with Pathfinder's abilities and I can be pretty deadly with using his tactical to get behind people and flank them.
Octane is a ton of fun to use, but I really haven't been able to use his jump pad very effectively and my teammates never use it when I try to place it in a tactical spot for them
I've been using Bangalore a lot lately and I'm pretty good with her too. Tbh I mostly started using her bc I got one of her legendary skins and it looks badass so I wanted to show it off, but I learned I'm pretty good with her so I kept using her. Apex Overdrive is the legendary skin I got
I think I've used Gibby and lifeline once each and wasn't really a fan, but if you have a teammate who's good with them they can be really useful, mostly lifeline

Finally unlocked the well rounded badge last night.
My order of useage now is

Wraith
Mirage.
I like the faster characters.

Lifeline main here. Love being able to keep the whole team in the ring until the last second and deploy the drone.

Interesting then that you don't use Octane. That's my favorite part about him, if I get into a hairy situation where somebody starts shooting me and I don't know where it's coming from, it's easier to yeet right out of there and get behind something to regain my composure. His speed and jump pad makes it easier to flank people too which helps me a lot bc I don't have very good aim so I'm not great at toe to toe fights and have to use strategy more.
I use Pathfinder's grapple in the same way, flanking people and yeeting out of bad situations. That's why those have been my two favorite.
Bangalore's smoke screen is great for my strategies too, but obviously I use her differently

Downed players can use Octane's jump pad as well.

I play with randoms 97% of the time and in at least 20 games with me using Octane I've still yet to have a teammate use my jump pad, even when I put it in strategic places with the express intent for them to use it
