Yea I don't either. These guns have a ton of recoil. The R-301 has pretty limited recoil as does the smg pistol, but that is not the norm. Once you fully mod some of the guns, they drop down considerably, but that is the point of the mods.

I think I saw someone here say that there's a way to decrease the amount of on-screen "displays" when in a gun fight. Is that true? Like the health meters, etc. I don't know what half that ish means, so if I could eliminate some of that from my screen it would be great.
Still struggling like a noob in this game. Anything to help would be great.

Got to settings and turn the damage numbers off and change the hit marker to whatever you want.

it would be nice to have less distraction.. however the hit markers tell you a lot. If you shoot someone and it comes up purple.. that means they have the best shield and you need to play it smart... if it comes up white.. not shield time to play aggressive

Yea I kept the hit marker and shield icon on, just turned off the damage numbers. I don't have enough time to process anyways and it takes up a ton of the screen/scope.

If you can aim and get into the pit, it isn't bad, and is a quick run down to a couple other areas. I think it has 3 supply crates inside plus loot on the ground, and is pretty secluded.

this game doesn't seem to be balanced around Solos. everyone would just pick wraith.
