Anyone tried to use the Share feature on the PS4 yet?

Set up a facebook account just for my PS4 share feature to see if the video's could be sourced and downloaded from the facebook link and my first video is just a single game of Team Deathmath on Ghosts. The video is 425 megs and since I am on DSL, which equals shitty upload speeds, its going to take 3 hours to upload the video to facebook.
So basically you can only upload videos while you are sleeping because im sure with it hogging your entire upload bandwidth it would cause major lag if playing online multiplayer, which is pretty much the only thing I do.
Anyone else have any experience with it yet?

Okay, it only took 1-2mintues.
Are you playing an online game? If so, the game has priority for bandwidth allocated to each program/task by the PS4.
You mentioned the shtty DSL Upstream bandwidth and that very well could be your case. Your other tasks are being put in a que or a transfer rate.

Had no games running at the time. Actually was uploading the video without anything running in the background at all. I'm sure its prolly my upload time.

I just got done trying it (if anyone wants to add me on PSN btw, my ID is the same as here). First I did the broadcasting to Twitch just to see what it would do. No one joined to watch, of course, but I only had it running for about 3 minutes.
Then I had a good run on the first stage of Resogun on easy so I tried sharing that. From what I've read the PS4 is always recording the previous 15 min of your gameplay in anticipation of you sharing it. If you hold down the "share" button it sets the starting point so you can ensure you're sharing what you want / hope to capture. I didn't know that then so the beginning of my video is me fiddling with menus before actually playing.
The video took about 10 minutes to upload and then another 5 to be watchable in the "What's new" social feed in the PS4 menu. At first you could see that I had uploaded something for Resogun but you weren't able to play it. This all happened in the background while I continued to play more.
You can set who you share to on FB by default in the PS4 FB privacy settings so I set all videos / pics I share on PSN to where only I can see them on FB. I assume my PSN friends can still see my video despite this setting but I'm not certain. It appears PSN and FB privacy settings are separate in that regard.

No but I completely forgot we can use voice commands with a mic.
Had the mic plugged into controller and it popped up say Playstation then command, put it in standby with voice, can launch a game with voice, turn it off, and a few other things.

Yeah that $100 extra thing I don't need to use voice commands. Just a simple ole microphone, no yelling across the room here.

So it uploaded a screenie pretty quickly. I really wanna get a video up so I can see if there is a way to save the video file to your HD since there is no way to pull the file off the PS4's HD.
