Played a pick up game last night and was extremely impressed with the new ball physics. You can rip a ball down the RF line and it will spin into the corner. You can hit a jammed shallow pop to left field that spins toward the line and no man's land and leg out a double.
Just beautiful new animations and it plays true to what a baseball game should play. Big fan of that.
But online is still trash.

I played just a 'play now' game with Texas and Houston last night waiting for the Servers to come up and it plays so much smoother than last year's. No dumbass triple clutches either on grounders w/ a guy who has 80 speed it appears.
The way the ball comes off the bat just seems so much more natural as well.

Yep last year I never could get balls to fall in for hits and this year it feels like a lot more realistic with how the ball plays. It always felt like the ball last year would hang in the air for an extra second to allow the OF to get to the ball. This year those balls will drop before the OF gets to it.

Not a fan of the way they've done missions this year. To complete a single mission you have to play different types of games. I don't like playing online and my go-to is usually conquer.

Yep and now anytime you play online your opponent will message you asking you to let a player on their team hit a home run. This morning I was flipping cards on the show nation website and around nine this morning the website became painfully slow.

So... true story seeing your PS4 pro reviews of the game made me go out and pick one up. It didn't seem to look that much different to me though.
How are the personalized team interfaces that came with MVP edition by the way? Haven't gotten a chance to see how to turn it on or how it looks
