Just got put in a game at rank 400 with a world series player who's entire team was diamonds except one gold.

Steve Finley a GOAT! i just won again putting me at 795 (trying to get to 800 before season ends). this guy had 99 griffey, 99 ripken, 99 lou brock, 99 bob feller on the mound, and i still beat him.

today is the last day. i just got +15 for a win. fricking sucks. i'm at 844 i was hoping i could win 3 more and get world series but if i'm only getting 20 points its gonna be 3 more in a row. these games havent been easy either

i'm improving. today is really the first day i've spent a lot of time playing since the patch. i actually kinda like it (because my pitching has been phenominal because of it). u really have to make solid contact to hit anything out tho

Just starting Diamond Dynasty, what should I spend my 33k stubs on starting off? Pitching, hitting or fielding? Any help appreciated and TIA!

Value players. Find guys that are well balanced and come at cheap cost to you. Plenty silver players can hold their own at the plate. If you're just dying to spend a lot of coin on one player then I'd say make it a power hitter that you spend on. Do the missions early on and gain depth that way as well
I find it difficult to spend on pitching early on as there's just a 1/5 chance you draw that player anyways

Thanks for the advice. Picked up a couple of value players already. After researching the list you can buy some pretty decent talent cheap. I bought some packs but didn't have any luck, is that usually the case?

Yep packs are fun in bulk and if you're spending lots of money. Otherwise they're not usually worth

Paraphrasing another poster here but I'm also addicted to the thrill of defeat lol. I used to collect cards as a kid so buying packs drew me right in. I quickly realized that the ratio of "hits" to common cards wasn't worth going the back route...but I still have hope lol. Gluten for punishment I guess. If anyone is looking to pad stats by whipping me later tonight hit me up

I've gotten more diamonds from match rewards than from opening packs.
All my packs have sucked arse. Maybe 5 or so golds in 100~ packs. Zero diamonds.

Bump. Just played my first game after the patch. I had three hits going in to the top of the tenth when Votto hit a two run shot for me. I threw a 2 hit shutout

Bout to hopefully make a 5k profit off of Polo grounds. Bought at 5 and change, it's up to 10.9k.
I've noticed the diamond equipment and stadium market is volatile enough to you can snag 2-3k profit per item if you check semi-regular
