I can't not buy packs.
I bought another 50 pack yesterday thanks to completing 2 of the 14k stub missions.
It's was a LITTLE better than my last one. Pulled diamond Josh Donaldson and Diamond flashback CC. Also gave me a ton of rangers and Phillies. I was pleased.

Played a bunt cheeser last night. Kiddo had his whole team at 80+ speed and steal, would bunt everything and steal damn near constantly.
After I realized he had zero chance against the knuckleball, I simply cheesed the knuckleball, brought my infield in, and would throw pitchouts every few pitches.

Pulled a daily challenge to hit 2 home runs with left handed batters in one online match to unlock Steve Finley diamond 90 player epic.. So I hit 2 hr with left handies last night. Didn't register. So I say frick it and turn the system off for the night.
Just did it again in an online match, just for the game to freeze in the top of the 9th, thus not giving me credit for my 2 home runs.
What's a kid gotta do to get this shite to count? I'm already hosting all the games in Polo grounds for the easy arse home runs. Just give me credit already dammit.

Are you 100% sure it's in a ranked season game? Double check and make sure it isn't like an event or BR match.
ETA: just checked, apparently it is a ranked seasons game. That blows man. Who did you hit them with? Any chance they were switch hitters? I shockingly haven't lost any stats recently aside from one events game the other night.

I watched it and one was a switch hitter. But it's cool, Jr hit me 2 homers in my last game so I got it.

Anyone have any tips for online hitting? I average about 3 runs per game. I'm fantastic at taking pitches and square up a ton I just always seem to pop it up. I use directional, is pure anolog better?

I use zone. I find I hit way more homers that way. I just have a terrible early swing habit and seem to always swing at low breaking balls

Directional is the worst possible hitting mode to use in online because everyone tries to the paint the corners.
Zone is the best way to be competitive. Assuming you've never used it before, it will take a bit of practice to get good at it.

Idk if that's the case, but to be competitive at the higher levels you have to be able to use zone.

Haha for sure. Maybe sooner than later. I'd like a no stress game w/out anything on the line. I got up to 960 and I've lost like 8 in a row since lmao.

Lol I would probably take a lot of my diamonds out of my lineup in that case then. My team is damn good, but not as good as the guys who have Dawson, Wright, etc..
