Anyone play/played rust?

talk about a game that can get frustrating. Half the turds playing the game, spawn camp nudes. Was watching a video of a guy who's really good at the game and it took him till his 15th spawn to finally be able to get a kill to start building and acquiring shite. And he had to outrun and dodge nude killers on that spawn.
Was it always this bad for nudes? No one interacts, and if they do, they wait till you turn around and dead, shot/stabbed to back of head.

You can spend 1000 hours building a master base loaded with supplies ... go to sleep... wake up to a fully looted destroyed base.
Just not my idea of fun.

Basically how it has always been.
I've made friends while playing but it was rare.
Haven't played in a long time. I think they added a lot of new stuff.

yep. its the kind of game that people that have time to clan up and e bully get their rocks off to.
being a 30 year old with little time to play theres really no way i could play the game at all

You don't need to clan up to destroy a super base.
My main beef with the game is no matter how much time and effort you put into resources and strengthening your base, someone good at the game can still easily destroy your base.
So you can't build an impervious base and at the same time you need to constantly gather resources to repair base degradation.
I like the base building and gathering. Just way too many griefers and if I spend that much time on a game, I want to be able to sleep at night not worried that I would wake up to nothing.

And it's not like a majority of the griefers need the resources, it's the point of being a dick to basically bully those who try to play the game.
