I’m shocked I’ve never gotten a warning. I used to talk so much shite playing Madden and 2k. I’d message someone every other game Playing Weekend League in Madden 20.

Some people are just unlucky. I've done my fair share of absolute toxic flaming in voice and message over the years and have never received any bans.

I have had my xbl account for more than 14 years and have a rap sheet that would make most microsoft admins blush. I think in total I have been suspended or had action taken against my account on 10sih different occasions. When I was in High School I thought it would be fun the change my name to something like xxNarcotictzxx or something stupid like that. Anyways that gamertag or different versions of it got me 2 of those disciplinary actions. When I got to college microsoft hadnt gone full pussy yet and I used to routinely talk shite in FIFA and other games. I was a tier one player on FIFA and was borderline unstoppable unless against other tier-1 players. A lot of those other players hailed from south of the border or spoke spanish so needless to say I enjoyed shite talking them and sending them messages. This probably got me 2 or 3 voice/party/message bans with the first being only like 24 hours then eventually developing into a week. When Overwatch came out and I thought someone was throwing I would DM them too and used colorful language and this eventually led to my bans being 2 weeks long. I spoke with a Microsoft admin because one ban was for saying something to the effect of "Why do you have to be a dick/count and ruin other peoples games" and the Microsoft admin told me that my account was kinda on thin ice with these comms bans and this was in 2017 which was the last time I got a 2 week one. I actually created another account so I could just join parties and talk through it, it was pretty easy to work around depending on the game.

Anyways like 6 months ago I was playing with one of my buddies from LSU and I dmed him a clip of me fricking him up COD and I called him a fag. He jokingly reported me and my ban was only for 24 hours, I guess because it had been 3 years since my last actionable offense they took it easy on me. So yea I was toxic as shite on XBL and deserved like 75% of those party bans but I have cooled off as I have gotten older lol. In general it is completely dependent on who you are messaging as to what may or may not happen.
