Anyone else have trouble with xbox one external drive?

I have a 4TB Hard external hard drive for my xbox one, maybe a few months old. I've had no problems with it until today. For some reason it stopped recognizing my external hard drive. I've tried doing the hard reset of the console, and it worked the first time for a few hours, then it kicked me off when I tried to play MWR. I even got on the chat with Microsoft support, spoke with an actual human, and of course it works that time. And as soon as I get off the chat and start playing a game of MWR, I get kicked off again because my xbox seems to think there's no hard drive attached.

Anyone else had these issues and/or know what to do?
