Anyone d/l and playing the Halo Wars demo?

Yeah it was pretty good. Controls are smooth and very intuitive for a console rts. You play a few tutorials and then 2 of the campaign missions. Only down side is that it took me over an hour to download it.

I downloaded it last night, but didn't play. was taking to long so i watched tv instead. i'll be playing tonight

Why does halow wars feel like desktop tower defender to me?

meh, it's like every other rts game for the past 5 years, just with the halo storyline.

yep, and arguably the 'hook' in RTS games can be distilled down to Desktop Tower Defender.
