gonna throw some excellent indies into the mix. They will be probably a little out there for you if your mostly a sports guy but they are cheap and just google gameplay before pulling trigger.
Journey: excellent exploration game with minor puzzles and awesome music
Bastion: Kind of like the older zelda games just modern.
Pyre: You control a team of wasteland misfits traveling and challenging other teams to this type of sports competition. Alot of reading though so maybe too much story.

Late to this thread does ps 4 have any games that you build a civilization like masters of Orion or Civilization something of that ilk?

Super Mega Baseball 3 just came out. My first time playing the series. Its really fun and has alot of modes to try.
