Commish asked me to deliver this message:
In an attempt to circumvent the players leaving issue the commish has logged in to the 3* dynasty and left his xbox on for us for today only. If you should have any desire to convince players to stay and actually keep them please log in sometime today and take care of that. You will also find an XBL message regarding this in your inbox.

So the issue occurs when the commish turns his xbox off while other players are convincing them to stay?

Basically there is one "Master" dynasty file that is saved online. Any time that you enter dynasty mode and make changes you are not actually changing the "Master" file. Your changes must be uploaded first, and then the master dynasty is saved. There is some glitch that either will not allow you to upload your players leaving changes, or will not allow the Master dynasty file to save those changes as it should. It is believed that if the commish is logged on and has the "Master" dynasty file open at the time you make your changes, that those changes will actually be saved when the "Master" file is closed and saved.
Also, these same type of errors occur when you save the dynasty file to your hard drive. PLEASE DO NOT SAVE THE DYNASTY FILE TO YOUR HARD DRIVE. The "Master" file will save automatically, AND most importantly will save your changes along with everyone elses to be kept current.
A file saved to your hard drive is only as current as the time at which you saved it. No one else can upload their changes to that file on your hard drive. So when you then load the dynasty file you saved to your HD and it is different from the "Master" dynasty file online it causes a bunch of problems. The "master" file online reverts back to the time of YOUR save, and anyone who made changes and uploaded them to the "master" file after you made your save loses their changes. People are losing games and recruits because of it.
Please do not save the dynasty, it will be saved for you online. You don't have to do anything. If you have saved the dynasty file to your HD then please go to file management and delete that saved game.

I save the dynasty offline, but never upload it before playing.

As long as you are choosing the option to "Save as offline dynsasty" you are good. There is also an option to save the online dynasty to your HD. That is what causes the problems.

if i'm online i'll recruit but if not you don't have to wait up is all i'm saying. I just want to make sure i get to select who to recruit and all that good stuff.
I can take a blow this season in recruiting, i don't have many positions that need filling.

I think(not 100%) that everyone has to stay on for players advancing. In other words, do your players leaving and then leave your xbox on while the commish advances.

i think as long as i am on and updating my status it will work. I have observed who made changes and so far everything is sticking. If I am the last one to upload the file and save it, it should stick with what my screen reads.
I will advance at 8-8:30 tonight, so if you have changes, get them done before. The only teams in any danger are really Ole Miss and UNC, unless some1 wants to keep a transfer. I did because the freshman DE was a 77 and i need him, but most of the other transfers are worthless. Just make sure u are signed out around 8pm central time and this may actually work without me having to kill, then reload the dynasty.

I really hope this works. I had a FR HB try to transfer with two seniors leaving. I used him for PR and KR and even some user games, so not sure why he wanted to leave. I convinced him to stay, but if it doesn't stick, I'm in trouble.

Im not sure how the position changes went...we will have to wait and see as i dont know how to look at the rosters at this point.

Don't think you can until after recruiting for sure. You can see how many you have at each position and what year they are, though.
