Wife did, I got her something really nice and she asked me what I really wanted and I told her the Ti just jokingly. She ended up getting it.

I won't. My loop is acrylic tubing, so it isn't easy to swap parts. I don't feel like changing out my MOBO until X99/5930K.

What is your PSU?
The problem im having with this 3rd TI is my PSU. I can't put a crazy full load or OC with this AX1200i. For the benchmark competition I will be using a separate AX850 just to bench with 3 cards.

How old is that AX? Those 780 TIs must be pulling over 800W.

Do they put out that much more power over a 780? I ran both of my 780s OC'd (along with my 3770k) on my 750w PSU just fine

Assuming you aren't going to put crazy amounts of voltage/OCs on those cards (and even still), a good 850W is fine.

Yeah they recommend 800 for SLI, so it should be fine.
