Apparently you can only use mushrooms and stars as powerups. A fetus is just wrong.

Some people found a chat app locked away inside the firmware about a year ago, I think. Nintendo just had it turned off.

Wasn't an app. We had a firmware update around October/November which came with disabled features which hinted at chat being supported locally on the Switch. Believe it was firmware 4.0
