I'm curious on the quality of these pellet grills.
The get a new grill every 5 years for 50 years is an interesting concept.

I have one going on 3 years old , It works well. I have a basic model without all the bells and whistles. Hit the power button, turn it to the temp you want, make sure the hopper is full and walk away.

I got the 7002E in 2019 and used it a bunch. Gave it to my FIL a few years ago. He still uses it around twice a month and it’s still going strong with no big issues.
The fit and finish on it wasn’t great, but acceptable for a cheap grill.
One other note: the ads for them say they “grill, sear, etc.” you can use them for that in a pinch, but it’s no replacement for an actual grill since it’s really more of a pellet smoker.

I had one and after 5-6 years I gave it to my buddy and switched to a Weber Searwood 600 XL. For a budget friendly pellet smoker Z Grill was great for the price tag. It was a 700 model, not exactly sure which model, but it had a stainless steel lid. I thought it was built pretty solid. I’ve got a CampChef at work and they both work about the same to me and the ZGrill was far less expensive.
Z Grill is not new to manufacturing pellet grills. Originally they built a ton of grills under the Traeger name.
Reason why I switched is because I wanted something that could actually sear at a higher heat level. Outside of that, for normal smoking and basic grilling the Z Grill is an excellent budget friendly grill.
