Good beer would convert non-mavens. We've all converted somebody where you have somebody over at your house and they ask for a Bud when you ask them if they want a cold one. Of course you don't have one, but you give them something better and they like it. Then you explain to them the world of craft beer.

Sounds like there'll be a lot of that going on in Shreveport...

The craft beer drinkers are here. There are a handful of off premise locations with the best selection available, but what I see a lot of is bartenders down talking beers bc they don't like them.

When I first moved to LA, I was thrilled to see that Unibroue was available. Then, Goose Island moved into the scene.

The best day of my life will be when I can purchase a sixer of Bell's.

nothing special but it is a better alternative to Bud, Miller etc...I mean sometimes I just want a regular beer, not IPA etc...
