Yea or Nay: Is AM Mart better with the current owners?

I say nay. Granted the current owners have been owning it since I think 2000. Service still good, but not as good as the old owners imo. I think the sandwiches are not as good, and one of the asian sisters(the big one) cocked an attitude with me one time for adding some cigs after I ran my cc. Still overall a place I will still go from time to time especially if I am in the lsu area. Thoughts?

not at all. here is what i wrote a few days about the place
Been getting sandwiches there for 10 years and I gotta say this place is almost unbearable now. Here are some tips AM Mart:
1.Instead of using a piece of paper the size of a quarter to write down the order, get a sheet specifically made for your sandwich orders. Would make it a whole lot easier and would keep you from fricking up as many orders as you do. shite, get a restaurant pad. This is just them being cheap.
2.Dont use a guy that barely speaks/understands English to take the orders. He had my order today under the name Wendy. Im a guy and my name doesnt sound like Wendy.
3.When you look at that little yellow piece of paper with scribble scratch all over it and give me a money total to pay. Dont ask for 25 cents after I have already paid you the total you originally said. It just looks fricking cheap along with the fact that you just looked at my order yellow slip for 2 minutes trying to decipher the scribble scratch code. You should have seen that I got jalapenos on the sandwich.
For as much business as this place seems to do, they sure do run the place like a bunch of idiots.
Rant over.

yep. They had an African American lady that made the sandwiches while I was a student in the 90's, she was awesome. Also, they had a guy that was working on his Phd in engineering that was making sandwiches there. His sandwiches were awesome.
The asian couple that owns it are nice people, but the sisters, and they lil shite they have for a son are the root of the problem imo.

The old owners wrote their orders on a small piece of paper. They never had issues, but I can see what you are saying. granted I was underage during the time, but the old owners would let me buy beer with my fake id. he probably still thinks I am from Kansas.

Her name was Ms. Dee, and she was awesome. Her sandwiches kept me alive while I attended LSU. I ate there about 5 times a week.
Ham/No Cheese/No Onions
The guy that always wore the flannel shirt and ball cap, and the other guy who put candy in your sandwich bag were badass too. They were mainstays in my college life.

I go to the place a ton just for convience. That said, I hardly ever get sandwiches from there. I never thought that they were that good to begin with. I always go to Inga's for sandwiches.
