I’ve eaten at several new Walkons locations around the state.
I lived in Br when the first one opened so I know the deal.
I’ve found all them to all be consistent and above avg.
west Monroe, Alexandria, Houma and Walker are the ones I’ve been to outside of BR and Nola locations.

I’m a fan of the place, the hate it gets on here is beyond stupid.

With that said the last time I went to Sammy’s (about 3 weeks ago) was. Terrible service And below avg food.
Zero talent working the place.

I wanted to cry.
That was my go to spot 15 yrs ago.

Walkons has good food. I love when people act like they are expecting four star restaurant type food at this sort of place. It's a sports bar. It's where you go pound beer and slam onion rings and nachos.

I like the word logs

Yeah, anyone who had them knew they weren't from a sysco bag.

Maybe the interwebs has something close.

Wonder if they have screwed up the lasagna too.

I never said this.

I said the ones in the pic were not the same as the ones I used to make as a prep cook at the Highland location in 2005-07.

I want the homemade logs recipe from back in the day.

Not the current ones that are pictured.
