2lbs shrimp tails, taken out idol freezer thursday afternoon. I put them back in the fridge Thursday evening when I realized I wouldn't be eating them. Are they still ok to cook today? I'll probably boil them.

Your post is a little hard to figure out. When did you take them out the freezer and when were they thawed out?

Like Martini said, you will be able to smell them and when shrimp go bad, they develop a slime over the shell that you can feel when you run your fingers across it.

I took them out of the freezer thursday at about 3pm. I put them back in the fridge around 7 that same evening, and by this point, they were thawed out. they have been in the freezer since then.

I opened the bag, and it still smelled like shrimp so I cooked them. Felt a little slime, but not too much. Rinse, peel, cook.

Thanks all!
