White Beans and Buttermilk Cornbread

Took a container of white beans I cooked a couple of weeks ago from the freezer and made a nice buttermilk cornbread for dinner.
Dessert was another piece of cornbread with some Steen's syrup.

Looks delicious! I did similar Monday and pulled out one of my red beans, made some corn bread (yours looks much better), with some fried chicken tenders my wife brought home. So good, red and white are my fav beans.

One of my favorite meals. My freezer is empty of white beans. Need to make a batch.
