They bought Early Times brand from Brown Forman a few years ago. The juice in those is Barton now. Brown Forman was recently put up for sale by the Brown Family. It was down to Pernot Richard and Sazerac. Looks like Sazerac is in the lead,

3PD So final verdict on this is, that it is not to the level of the early batches. Still a very good blend and is as good as most special releases out there today. Those old batches were just magic.

So this is a branded Laphrhoaig glass and I have become a fan of this style of glass. The proper style name is a Canadian Whiskey Glass so do a search for that. I need to pick up a few more.
