I bought a bottle but haven't tried it yet. It is an OBSK 10yr10month old. One of their employees told me its hot and spicy, which is right up my alley.
Might have to give it a try. I finished my OBSV last night.

Has anyone tried the other two Knob Creek select barrels from Calandros other than the Fred Noe barrel. I need another bottle and will be choosing from those three.

I have another one. Maybe I'll have some tonight. The Fred noe one was delish
Not too bad...very drinkable at the proof it's at. For some reason I remember the other being a tad smoother but I'd have to do a side by side another night....without a cigar

Thanks for the info, looks like I'll be going with the Fred Noe.
I really enjoyed the Martins select KCSB I am about to finish.

I've had all three, and all three are quite good. The one Fred selected is a bit older and maybe a little more mellow as a result, but the others are quite good for their price point. They were all hand selected, so don't think you can go wrong with any. And this coming from someone that wouldn't have ever ordered it in a bar. If you are a barrel proof fan, it's a good buy.

Just went pick up more Calandros FRSB OBSV. Can't beat that $30 price tag.

$30 was for the non barrel proof bottle. Their barrel proof was $55.
