They are. Got most at retail. Traded for two and three were just under double retail.

I got the armored truck loaded down with cash because that's what it's going to take here. I think Les has a better chance of getting fired than finding btac or pappy.

I really like the Willet 4 year rye if you like spicy. Willet 2 year is good but def young. Michters rye us also great value in my opinion and Michters 10 year rye us excellent but you'll have to get lucky to find it or pay a good but. Masterson and EH Taylor ryes are smoother and easier to sip. Angel Envy rye is a very sweet one finished in run casks that is an excellent dessert one.

I love the EHT rye...mastersons was meh to me. Also the micters 10 rye was really good to me. I have some 2yr willett that I have not tried yet but heard the same....good but young. I also have some 6yr that I tried last night...not bad. I am not a huge rye fan so take it for what its worth.

What about your mixing rye recs? Looking for a spicy rye to try in an old fashioned.

I usually use Old Overholt or Rittenhouse. Both under $20 and actually pretty good to drink on their own accord too.

Funny story, went to pay for the first of these today with my credit card and it was declined. I was quite confused since I'm nowhere near my limit. I received a call a couple hours later from the company informing me they had frozen the account due to "suspicious activity" which was later described as large charges at several package stores

After explaining whiskey hunting season and assured them the charges were valid, we're all good again to continue the hunt
