I use these (ice spheres). I like to sip until the dilution gets to the perfect spot then I fish it out with a spoon and enjoy the rest of the glass.

Yeah, that mold make a sphere the size of a baseball almost .. I tend to finish my glass before that much melts

Side Note(since i'm at the top of page)
Going to Bar Louie this evening.. Do they have a decent Whiskey selection or am I S.O.L.

Costco in BR:

Angels Envy: $44
Buffalo Trace: $19
Basil Hayden: $32

Also had John Bowman and Bowman Brothers but I don't remember the prices.

Pretty sure... I know central location always has it. Watson has a decent Lil selection. Smaller selection than central but they have a few good ones central doesn't

Better Four Roses single barrel?
I think calandros has 2, Alexander's has 1. Are they the only places around here with private selections? Anyone know the recipes of each?

Do you try to see how much you can get in the glass just because or is that really a normal pour? ?

Calandro's has a 100 proof OBSV and a barrel proof OESK. Opinions by people who have tried both favor the OBSV. Alexander's has an OE but not sure of the yeast strain or how it compares to the Calandro's barrels.

Thanks. I have a bottle of OBSV that I got from the distillery. Looking to try something different.

It's not as much as it looks. The glass is really small, not your typical old fashioned glass.
