Finally picked up a bottle of 107 in Texas, for the 50/50 did you guys just pour 50/50 in an empty bottle and let it sit for a few weeks?

Yup, unless you want to get really fancy and let it age in one of the mini barrels for a few weeks (which is how I'm doing the next batch )

Recently tried the AE Rye...it tastes great as an after dinner drink! But it's no longer whiskey...for the $$, there's dozens of liquors that'd be just as good. IMO AE Rye is whiskey for those that don't want whiskey.

I'm having some Woodford Reserve Double Oaked ( single barrel selection from specs).

After picking up a bottle of OWA 107 this past weekend, I'm planning to do the same. I'll have to wait though. I have some Wild Turkey 101 in the barrel right now.
