I still need to get over to my tenants for a pappy van winkle tasting.

Ran across a bottle of Bulleit on sale for 20 bucks the other day.. Was surprised at how good it was for the price. Very butterscotchy like Woodford Reserve.

Thanks for the advice. I'll try it out. Using it the other night with just tap water worked well. Melted much much slower than normal cubes.

Bushmill 16 Single Malt is a great alternative when you want to try something other than Scotch or Bourbon

Trying Eagle Rare Kentucky Bourbon.
Pretty damn fine.
This has quickly become my daily pour. It's fantastic. Love the caramel.

My wife brought this back from Scotland for me. Beats the hell out of a t-shirt. 15 year old Glenfarclas, aged in sherry casks.

Ive seen this around a lot lately. Never gotten around to try it. Consensus seems to be good stuff.

Will be my next bourbon purchase. Still trying to finish all the JD I got as Christmas gifts.

I normally only drink Red Bull and Vodka, I RARELY drink and when I do it's when I go out and party hard, but this thread inspired me. I went to the store and they had Woodfords Reserve and I just had a few fingers with some ice and its great! I understand this hobby now!

I guess I need to give Bulliet another chance. I purchased a bottle a couple years ago and was unimpressed.

I've never had it. Heard good stuff about it though!

I thought it was pretty good for the price. Reminded me of Woodford Reserve.

Is it normal to still be able to taste bourbon the next day...even after eating and brushing your teeth twice? I mean I don't "taste" it but I can tell I drank it from a slight smell or something.

Not reading through 19 pages, sorry. I'm going to Scotland in June so I've been touching up on my scotch. Really love Glenlivet 12. Am currently drinking some Laphoraig...it's from the Isle of Islay and def has a unique smokey taste. Took me a little while but it's delicious

Yea, going on a road trip with some friends around the country. Trying to figure out which distillery to tour. I told all my friends they need to start drinking scotch straight because when they go over there and ask for scotch and coke they'll think they're pussies

Hey that's what I say. They actually prefer scotch with diet coke, still ridiculous
