Glad that HH is readily available in Louisiana now.

I'm going with a sherry theme tonight.

I hope that Port finish makes it’s way to LA this year

Starting with an easy drinker tonight, FPD

I was just reading about that one a few days ago. I've enjoyed everything I've had from them so I'm sure I'll get it whenever it shows up. I'm a little concerned about the long term impact of the new ownership. Hopefully they won't do too much meddling with the actual product (or prices).

Yeah, I’m curious how much of their current product is in house distilled vs sourced at this point. I know the older stuff is still sourced, but their own distillate could be 6 years old by now.

Speaking of sourcing, 2PD

How is that? I've thoroughly enjoyed their blue label rye picks. I've tried one black label, but it was the bourbon. I think the ryes are better in general.

I would say it’s pretty good. Didn’t blow my socks off but I enjoy it. I picked it up because it came in second in the Ascot awards this season. For price comparisons sake, I prefer it over the toasted KLuke rye.

The Four Gate French oak toasted rye that I have is awesome. I need to get some more of their stuff.

Nice to see the variety (and quality) of pours tonight. I usually don't go with a 4th, but kept all of them under the usual amount. A rye, bourbon, American single malt, and an Irish. Hardto choose a favorite. The sherry added another layer to each.
