While I am not disagreeing with you about this, I guess that those of us who have eaten at the Johnny's in NELA will always have to chime in about how good it is - because it IS very good.
I'm not judging the entire organization. Just the BR location. How do yall not understand that I can bash one location while saying nothing about the other locations?

Johnny's is awesome but it's too hit or miss. Just no consistency.
They hire people minimum wage to make your pizza. If they don't give a frick, then your pizza will suck. The location on north airline in Bossier City is great. The other airline one I've had bad experiences. The Benton rd location has also been solid for me.
The reason why the Baton Rouge location sucks is because they are more concerned with inventory than making a damn strong pizza.

I'm not able to get out of Baton Rouge on a regular basis right now because of my school and work schedules, so half the list is foreign to me. Of the listed, I've only had Deano's and the Baton Rouge version of Johnny's (which I won't go back to).
At Deano's, I got the Marie LeVeaux pizza, and it was exceptionally good.
Johnny's in BR, as many have stated, is pitiful, but I won't rule it out. Hopefully I will get a chance to eat a better location one day.
For my local BR favorites, I've got to go with Fleur de Lis and Mama Della's.

Deano's hands down.
You can't beat the Cajun Executioner, Marie Leveaux, or Rajun Cajun.

Fleur de Lis is right up there with Pizza Village for pizza places I really don't understand how they stay in business.

Let me preface, I have spent plenty of time at the McKeen johnnys.... now from here i will say the whole thing about the Baton Rouge Johnny's being so awful and unlike the ones in NELA just is not true. It is almost exactly the same, i think that is just people's go to argument when someone is critical of Johnny's. I think Johnny's is very good, but i could see how others would think meh
