I am looking for advice on food dehydratorservice. Pros, cons, etc. I am looking to start with meats and fruits. Thanks for your input.

The Nesco one. I had another one that wanted me to dehydrate something for days if I remember correctly before the jerky was done. The Nesco one takes me 6-8 hours a batch depending on the thickness of meat.
I only make jerky with mine, so if your wanting it for another use then you can disregard this, however, I would think that it would still be the most efficient one out there regardless of what you were dehydrating.
This is what I have
Only downside is that it's a bitch to clean-up, but every dehydrator is going to be.
