Seeking suggestions for adventurous party of 4. Will be staying in Warehouse District, but willing to go anywhere except for Northshore.

Thoughts?

A number of restaurants around New Orleans are offering Revellion menus during December. Pick which one looks best to you and call to confirm they are open on Christmas Day.

This list has a lot of the reveillon dinners listed out and what the menus are.

Fitzmorris used to have a listing on his website for restaurants in the area that are open for Thanksgiving or Christmas. Not sure if he still posts one or not.

Chinese food, then a movie.

It's a Jewish Christmas!

Went to "5 Happiness" one time on Christmas Eve or Christmas and it was ridiculously packed. It was miserable. Ended up sticking it out because we didn't have much in the pantry or fridge. Will never happen again.

Our Christmas Day tradition is lunch somewhere, bar/hotel lobby hopping, dinner at Doris Metropolitan, drinks. And I can tell you that as of 2 days ago, it was slim pickins when I went to make a lunch reservations.

Shaya was still available for the time I searched and by the time I clicked on it, I was bumped back another hour.

Last year I forgot to reserve something for lunch until a few weeks before, and we ended up getting a reservation at a place called Curio. They weren't allowing anyone from the street in without a reservation and we waited 30 minutes to be seated even WITH a reservation.

So my advice is get working on reserving something tonight unless you are fine grabbing some fries/chicken tenders at Ernst or similar.
