I am lookin to buy a large amount of alcohol to restock my bar for my man cave. Where in Lafayette, or what web site should restock from? Ambassador Wine and Spirits is the only place I'm thinking. Morcelos on Johnston St. is to expensive. Im looking to spend a few hundred dollars
thanks.

thanks.

Amb Wine and Spirits is a good place to stock up.
Their selection is very good, prices are reasonable (if not the best), and the staff is very helpful.
Their prices are on par or better than everywhere else.
You can buy with confidence there.

Ambassador Wine and Spirits is the friendliest and cheapest. However their wine and beer selection is wanting.
Phillipes has the best selection and knowledge of wine and craft beer. Liquor, not so much. They are also the most expensive liquor store in town. You'll pay 10% more for everything here.
Marcellos gets stuff the other two don't get, they have largest selection of beer, but a lot of that is macro. They usually get the good stuff too. Customer service is kind of hit or miss at Marcellos too, but the old guys are the good guys.
So, if you know what you want, go to Ambassador Wine and Spirits. If you want good advice and selection on wine or beer, go to Phillipes. If neither of those places have what you're looking for, go to Marcellos. If you're lazy and just want to shop at one place, go to Marcellos, they'll probably have what you're looking for.

Thats what i thought and pretty much new. Seriously, thank you for your info and time. I am from and live here in Lafayette. I was wondering if there was a new place. There is so many new companies in town now. Do you know of a web site that you can buy? I googled around but didn't see anything.

I would go with Amb Wine and Spirits, but you can shop around. Some decent stuff can be found at Rouses/ Whole Foods, etc... Picked up a couple craft beers this weekend at Rouses for $3-5 cheaper than Amb.
Online places I've seen but never ordered from:
Caskers, Internet Wines, & Craft Spirits Exchange.

There are lots of online places. Best thing to do is search for what you want and see what sites have it and if they ship to LA. Most do but not all. Others have the local stuff covered...I go to marcellos mostly simply becasue I have been going there for 20+ years and they have a good selection.

Albertsons - I go to the one on Kaliste Saloom.
Marcello's - Probably has a couple things you can't find at Albertsons but it's not convenient for me so I rarely go there.
Rouse's
