When did TUESDAY become the big going out to dinner night?

So I was SUPPOSED to go to Mr. John's on Tuesday w/ a friend of mine. I figured Tuesday...I shouldn't need reservations...WRONG! The place was packed and they couldn't take us at all that night. So we said whatever, we'll just go somewhere else. Well we tried calling about 10 other places and NONE of them could seat us until 9:30 (it was 7:30 when we called)

Tuesday is always the best night to eat out. That's the day the fresh food is delivered. Monday would be the worst.

usually poor people only go out on the weekends. people with money to spend go out during the week to avoid the bridge and tunnel crowds

Mr johns is booked just about every night. Must call ahead to be safe
