Someone I believe somewhat recently around here said they use a smoker attacked to the back of their car and cook as they are driving to tailgates.
I thought that was crazy and potentially dangerous

Very similar to a cochon de lait. It’s a fun, albeit long, time.

I've heard rumors that people put steaks in ziploc bags and let it sit in warm water for hours.
Hell, that ain't nothing.
Years ago, my wife begged me to take her to this place in Baton Rouge. For $100 they brought our steaks out raw and already cut into pieces. We had to stab it with toothpicks and boil it in a pot of broth on the table.

My dad used to cook wild game on the steam pipes at the plant.
He was a plant baw and a farmer.

Love my Dutch oven.
My go to is pear cobbler or brownies.
Camping season can't get here soon enough.

I have eaten a few MREs after Katrina when I was trying to find my stuff. The military drove by and handed us some. We handed them our muddy alcohol that they gladly cleaned and kept.
