Who has a good Salsa recipe they would share?

I like Pace for one purpose. Flour tortilla, melted cheese and pace. Quick 30 second snack in a pinch.

Seconded.

For starters, I can't stand cooked salsas. I like fresh salsas, and Cousins is my fave. It's not chunky but the flavor is awesome.

For chunky fresh salsa, Sam's does have a good one (I think it's Mama Rosa's or something like that), and of course I like to make my own.

I made a similar thread several months back looking for suggestions for store-bought salsa. Took a while but I ended up trying every one that was posted in that 5-page thread, including all the ones posted here so far.

NONE of them came close to homemade or even restaurant salsa. If I'm in the mood for chips & salsa (probably my favorite snack, btw) I'll pick some up from Superior or Serranos .. the two best chips+salsa in town.

my easiest salsa recipe is a salsa verde.
ingredients are 6 tomatillos, a few clove of garlic, half an onion,1 or w jalapenos depending on potency. Boil water. Add whole tomatillos minced garlic jalapenos and onions. Let boil 15 minutes. Discard water (i keep a cup in case salsa is too thick). Immersion blender the hell out of it. I usually and anywhere from 830 to a half a cup of the water I reserved. I eat this over beef or mix w avocados.

Love their Creole Tomato dressing. Will try their salsa, thanks. You can also get the Creole Tomato at Albertsons. Not sure about the salsa.
