Baton Rouge chef Troy Deano and the team at the Louisiana Culinary Institute are bringing a new restaurant and seafood market to the city. The development will also include a second location for the Baton Rouge-born Dolce Vita Pizzeria.
The new project, which has a footprint of about 8,000 square feet, will be located on Jefferson Highway behind LCI, and will likely expand in the future to also include other types of eateries.

If I'm not mistaken, he sold Dolce Vita.
I had lunch there last week, and was probably 30% as good as when Boden was pumping out pizzas.

Thanks for the link.

Late last year, Deano had started working with the Louisiana Culinary Institute on an annex that would be located behind the facility on Jefferson Highway.
The annex would feature at least two restaurants, a wood-fired pizza concept and Deano’s own restaurant to be called Brackish.
Deano said plans for Brackish to come to LCI’s annex were scrapped, and he is unsure if anything will happen with that facility. However, Deano said that restaurant is not completely out of the picture.
“Brackish has not gone away,” he said. “It could be something that happens in the future, most definitely.”
