Eating Indian food reminds me of the third floor of the EE building at LSU....on a more serious note it reminds me of some of my first child hood memories of eating Indian food with the family in Scotland.

Breaded pork chops and broccoli remind me of when my mom used to cook

For some reason fried okra or cole slaw reminds me of living in MS

Waffles, squash, and seared tuna remind me of my ex

Anytime I have a salad I really enjoy it reminds me of a catering company that I used to work for. They had a little place for lunch and the guy that made salads there was amazing.

I guess all of my memories are sort of corny because they remind me of people and not of a particular time in my life.

A few more... Vienna sausages...I wouldn't dare eat it now but I suppose it would remind me of fishing trips with my dad. That and nutter butters.

Occasionally I'll make some spam fried rice and it reminds me of an old coworker that literally threw the kitchen sink in his fried rice.

Coffee cake reminds me of when my mom and I used to bake. Ditto with pound cake. Aebleskiver also reminds me of my early childhood in scotland. Ditto for shrimp cocktail believe it or not.

I could probably list a dozen or so more if I thought hard enough about it. But I'm enjoying a glass of Bulleit Bourbon and sprite and my arse might get too sentimental if I keep going down memory lane.

One of my grandpa memories would have to be sunrise chicken and chocolate soldiers. That was mandatory for all of our crabbing trips.

Sloe gin fizz reminds me of making out with a sixteen year old in the back of my Camaro.

Seriously it seems so repulsive to me now

But hey, just thinking of the topic brought back memories. Thankfully he doesn't eat crap like that anymore.

Judging by her cultural upbringing I would say she has had a sloe gin and orange juice sometime shortly after she started menstruating.

sloe gin
gin
lemon juice
simple syrup
soda

It's very much a high school drink. Or at least if you were in high school.

327? When is the last time they made those in a Camaro? Did that come with a sweet 8 track and white walls too?
