Nice. For the record I didn't make that. I really like oxtail. Eaten mostly by Vietnamese and Jamaicans from what I can tell.

I made some chili. I used one of those McCormick seasoning packs for hot chili. No beans and I used Hunt's fire roasted tomatoes. I simmered it for a couple of hours. Not bad at all.

I’m not going to lie, all of the crazy stuff I’ve made I’ve never tackled homemade chili. I use the McCormick seasoning too. Whatever works huh?

Half Shell Oyster House private dinner tonight ahead of their grand opening next week.
Appetizer was a sampler platter of oysters consisting of:
Oysters Orleans
Oysters Bienvielle
Oysters Rockerfeller
Chargrilled Oysters
Raw
I ended up trying the seafood platter of fish, shrimp, oysters, and a crab cake. Side dishes were cheese corn grits and jalapeño hush puppies
Dessert was a cinnamon bread pudding
