Add some bacon and it sounds pretty damn good.

Serious question, what made you decide to be a vegetarian? You may have covered this already but I didn't see it. People who don't eat meat genuinely interest me. I don't understand it though. My sister in law was a vegetarian for 10+ years and one day ate some bacon by accident and hasn't looked back since

Oh and I'm at Buffalo Wild Wings. I'll order some food eventually but just beers so far

I make mine with mayo, a little creole mustard, lemon juice, chopped celery and purple onion, some parsley and green onion, salt, pepper, and a few dashes of Crystal. One of the best ways to use leftover crawfish, great on bread or over some greens.

Just a question. Last Thursday night at Hal and Mal's a guy came in later when he left, he came to a dead stop before going out the door and stared at me and the wife for a long 15 seconds before he turned and left. It was obvious he thought he knew me, but was unwilling to come over.

Could it have been you?

Shrimp, pasta, and king cake.
I saw some protein shakes in the frigerator, even picked one up.

I put it back.

was great regardless

To give you a short answer which I usually don't do (but it's late and this thread will be drifting away soon enough) I don't like how animals are killed. And when I made the decision to switch my diet around I felt much better eating vegan. So it just worked out for me.. maybe not for everyone. I've had eggs in my diet the past year+ because I was craving them. Who knows, maybe one day my body will react differently than it is now and I'll crave/need meat again. According to my blood (O something) and the blood type diet, I should be eating red meat. Can't imagine that at this moment but who knows! I've definitely been giving it much thought lately.

Ps you could do it if you really tried, if only for a short time... maybe it would help you understand.

king cake has plenty protein...

sounds delicious. I've never had it that was before. Only etouffee or bisque type leftovers

I wasn't trying to knock you so I hope you didn't take the question the wrong way. I was genuinely interested in why you made that decision. Thanks for the honest answer

No, wasn't me. It's been too long since I've been to h&m--need to fix that
