Tonight, we undertook a culinary journey of sorts.

We started out at Taco Bell in Meridian, MS with soft beef tacos (2 each) and bottled chilled diet A&W Root Beer.

Eventually we found ourselves at the Dixie Storage facility in Clinton, MS, and after placing a Pickup truck load of antiques into storage, we drove across to McDonalds, where we purchased two small McDonalds burgers and two apple pies. We had room temperature bottled Water from Texas with these.

I am now at home and have finished a bowl of Winn Dixie Butter Pecan Ice Cream.

Saw three wrecks on I-20 between Meridian and Jackson. Also saw a Lauderdale Sherriff Department PoPo Mobile going full blast on I-20 in Meridian as we came back into town. As of now, I do not know who in my fair city got shot (which is usually why they turn the blue lights and siren on) but I am happy it wasn't me or the wife. They were going in the general direction of the Prison at Exit 129 across from Spaceway Truck Plaza so maybe they had an escape. I did not hear any sirens blaring when we went by so that probably wasn't the case - most likely was a shooting in West Meridian.

Took some strong drugs with Diet Pepsi for an aching old guy shoulder before my Ice Cream and will call it a night as soon as the throbbing calms down some.
