Crab and Tomato soup, tortellini, garlic bread, chocolate lava cake & ice cream, bourbon on the rocks w/ splash of cherry juice.

Not sure. I was not the cook. But I was polite and ate a bowl. My kids had two bowls each. One with potatoe salad, one without.

I'm picestarian but that sounds good. I had had some pioneer woman salmon .....amd I am thankful the MIL cooks that for me....others had prime rib........ She also cooked a chocolate cheese cake that was spot on..... She is a good country cook..... Just not my style. I cooked my gumbo for my family tomorrow and that was my evening... We used to eat it on christmas eve but cant get together til Christmas day now....

My kids are good eaters. It was good. The host even sent a gallon home with us. She was so impressed how much my kids (4 and 7) ate it. Hers usually only eat chicken nuggets, pizza, and Mac n cheese.

I’ll never forget in pre-K my oldest told the teacher when learning to sound out letters , “c—stands for crawfish”.
