Love me some chicken livers. Would never think to pair pomegranates with them but I bet it’s a nice touch. Fried livers and gizzards are one of my favorite guilty pleasures. Could eat them until I’m sick.
I had a plain ole turkey and Swiss sandwich for dinner on white bread. Had a late lunch and tried the new kfc chicken sandwich. Pretty damn good.

The pomegranate syrup is more important in the recipe than the seeds, although it’s nice to have their color and crunch. I wish I’d thought of it myself, but I got the inspiration after having it at a Middle Eastern restaurant.
