Grilled cheese. On rye with extra sharp cheddar and some jalapeno Zapps. The usual to drink.

I think I'm about to go out for sushi. Not because of lent, but just because I feel like eating sushi.

Taking the guests to Friends in madisonville. Not going for the food, but for the atmosphere/ river/ weather this evening. I will have crawfish for sure.

Slidell. Fiancee's out of town so I don't feel like burning all that gas...and apparently there's a well-reviewed sushi place here that I've yet to try (Sogo)

Since I don't drink it at the camp, alright.

During the season, it's usually bourbon whiskey straight

Well, I would if there was one.

I'm going to marinate them in curry, cayenne, and a bit of coriander or cumin. Then I'll likely cook them in a pan and then deglaze the pan a bit with whatever I'm drinking. I am new to roasted cauliflower so I am still experimenting how I like it most, but I think tossing the cauliflower with EVOO, shallots, and garlic is my favorite preparation thus far.

I tend to just cook off the top of my head which can be great, but also a detriment for repeating meals sometimes.

use both coriander and cumin. you also need lemon juice and greek yogurt in the marinade. I also add garlic and turmeric and sometimes mint, mustard seeds or black cardamom.
