Some skeeze I am "friends" with on FB always posts pictures of her and her little boy going to Twin Peaks. Boy can't be older than 6-7. He apparently loves it.

We actually saw a family with their three children and commented on the same thing. Not that it's something your kids haven't seen before; just seems like the last kind of place I'd want my husband to take me and our young children. Beer, sports, barely dressed chicks... not a family friendly joint. Something I'd use to "get away" from my demon children

Twin Peaks franchisee expanding in BR and Lafayette

quote:

The local franchisee behind the Twin Peaks restaurant on Siegen Lane has extended its agreement with the Dalla chain to build a second location here and expand into Lafayette.

quote:

The restaurant, which touts “a mountain sports lodge setting” and food and beer served by “friendly and attractive Twin Peaks Girls,” has also signed a deal with a new franchisee in New Orleans. That deal, with SBC Restaurants LLC, will result in five stores in the New Orleans metro area, the chain said.

I guess they must be doing well, but adding this many stores is surprising..

Yeah. That's dumb, but I dont care what their website says. It provides a good location to watch a game.
And no, they aren't grinding their own meat, but neither is masons. "best burger in br".
But yes, a sysco rep probably is servicing their restaurant needs. I didn't say they were practicing "farm to table", but not many are.
But, they do prepare their own dishes and that is a plus in my book compared to most chains.

You're fricking retarded.

So I guess by your standards, McDonald's is a top notch establishment because they do "everything in house" as in take frozen patties off a truck and fry them or frozen fries and fry them.

It's good dumbasses like you exist though, because without em, places like that wouldn't exist

yep. Good thing for people like me who know the restaurant industry as well as anybody and shares my opinion.

Not apples to apples smart fella. You can order any type grade of meat you want from Sysco. They don't just carry low end. They actually patty their pre-ground fresh meat instead of just throwing a frozen hockey puck on the flat grill.

And , no they aren't growing their own damn tomatoes you fool or pinching off fresh basil from the back garden, but neither is anybody else in BR.

If you ever worked or have even been in a chain restaurant you would know that many of their sauces/entrees come pre-cooked and frozen. Twin Peaks I don't begin to say they have great quality of food, but they at least prepare their own sauces/dishes in the kitchen, not shipped in frozen from Idaho.

So back at ya and get a clue.

ETA: And for the record, I haven't even at the slopes of Twin Peaks(although I would). Just pointing out things about it.

They are cheap though and taste good but I was laughing at how little meat was on there.

That's nothing compared to the Roast Beef Poboy at McAlister's. It's beyond pathetic. It would be an insult as a $2 kids item. Much less a $5 regular item.

No kiding. Ordered a $7.95 corn beef Rubin there the other day. There was more sourkraut than meat. All told, the corn beef weighed less than one piece of bologna. That place is the suckville.

FWIW...
I have only eaten at the TPs in Dallas...
their "casual" dishes are good / Ok, but their main entrees will definitely surprise you.
