Very interesting! I was actually planning exactly what he has laid out in his first attempt. I hadn't thought of it being TOO much like ribs that it doesn't become McRib-like. May give the ground pork method a try.

A few years ago I fell victim to the McRib hype. I hadn't had one in decades. I got one. It wasn't that good, and I felt sick the rest of the day. Not food poisoning sick, just shitty and gross feeling, indigestion. I don't feel that way when I eat a McDouble or a Sausage Egg Cheese McMuffin.

All the most popular fast food is made to be eaten by hand, on the go, in a disposable package. That’s the defining characteristic of fast food. That should be the first clue that it’s not at all about quality or price or health
